This is a free template by Ross Markham (www.rossmarkham.com) feel free to use and distribute it as long as you keep the link to rossmarkham.com at the bottom.

The images are all png's since most modern browsers support them now, there is a CSS hack that isn't implemented in this demo to make them work in IE6. The use of png's means that the background can be changed to any color you like.
This template is fully XHTML and CSS compliant.
Included in the download is the font used in the banner and a copy of the banner without text.
There is one issue I couldn't resolve, the footer you have to change the margin-top:<xx>px to the correct hight
